Central planning a country as large and complex as the U.S. Is an impossible task. Ask Jimmy. I can see why academic ideologues would be shocked to discover that such vast concentration of power is not going to work. In the university world they postulate problem and proscribe a solution on a little spreadsheet. It's neat and simple. Translate that simplistic thinking into reality it does not work. Government just needs to get out of the way. Natural forces though are hard to understand, complex, difficult to quantify. Natural forces can't be put onto a term paper. Dammit!
