If he were simply a corrupt RINO snake it would be bad enough, but the guy is actually a corrupting RINO snake.

If Palin had remained governor and refused to join him on his presidential bid, something I supported her doing BTW, she would have served out at least one and probably two terms as Governor. Then she could have moved on to be a national figure with adequate experience under her belt.

I was wrong to support her joining John. Her endorsement of him in his race against J. D. Hayworth makes that crystal clear.

John is a pro at networking Conservatism downward. If he can turn Palin to his side (definately a dark side), then he’s a major threat.

He is Senator Palpatine incarnate.

Juan lost my vote long ago. JD is a good guy...not perfect, but up to the task.

I live in AZ and those ads by McCain are truly horrible. The voice actor has this uppity, sort of Thurston Howell the III accent. And finishes each stupid spot with:

Charact-ah mattahs (said with grave importance). I won’t vote for Juan for this alone~

Maybe JD should ask McCain why he didn’t fight this hard against his buddy, Obama.

McCain is the corrupt INDIAN tribe/Lobbyist politician, not J.D. J.D. was cleared...no one will investigate or touch the crimes of John McCain.

What’s weird to me is that McCain is pulling out all the stops to go after JD, but from what I’ve heard McCain is way ahead in the polls. Why spend so much time and money attacking your opponent if there’s no need?

Why would he be ‘desperate’? Has there been a major shift the polls the last couple of days? He was up 2-1.

That would be very bad political strategy unless your opponent had rolled over and gave up...and Hayworth is fighting until the end. If McCain looked at poll results showing him ahead and backed off that is a sure fire way to lose ground in a hurry.

Remember back early in the primary, when McCain was going NO WHERE and we couldn’t figure out who would ever support him except the witless??

Well, he had some good advisors....good enough to win the old liar the R primary. It seems they cornered the internet market.

An article in Newsweek, November 03, 2007, tells that the McCain team bought internet search words that linked to his campaign, etc.

[snip]he national polls don’t reflect it, but in one sense John McCain is the clear front runner in the presidential race: he leads in search-engine ads. When you type McCain’s name into Google, alongside or above the standard search results you’ll always get a text ad—a “sponsored link”—that leads you to a Web site soliciting campaign contributions for the Arizona senator. What happens when you type “Giuliani” into Google? You get a paid link to the former New York mayor’s site. But you also get a McCain ad.

The other obvious search words involve search terms people use when researching specific issues. Here again, McCain is busy; his people say that at various times they’ve bought 10,000 different words. But other candidates are active, too, sometimes appearing in surprising places. Who shows up when you type in “stop global warming”? Bill Richardson! Giuliani pops up with “flat tax” and “illegal immigrant.” But when I tried “universal health care,” nothing from any candidate came up. Vary it a little by typing “health care reform” and you get a paid link to … John McCain. (On the other hand, in my experience, typing in “Fred Thompson” often leads to sites selling authorized campaign merchandise, as if the politician-actor were running on eBay.)

I’ve been wondering the exact same thing. It’s possible his internal polling is showing a much closer race. My personal theory is that at some point in the campaign, McCain began taking things personally, and now he wants to destroy Hayworth.

Too bad we didn’t see this kind of fire from him in 2008...

His internal polling must really show he is not way ahead as the media polls are showing

Most pollsters are liberal...and like McCain...they will give him benefit of the doubt

I think the Democrats voted for him in large numbers in those early primaries, and were laughing all year long as we were stuck with the reprobate.

Agreed.

FLUSH THE JOHN! McCain HAS to go!
(To the tune of Frankie & Johnny!)

Johnny and Teddy were Senators
On opposite sides of the aisle
They got together and drafted a bill
Guaranteed to make illegals smile
Amnesty was their game – and they had no shame

Johnny and Senator Feingold
Gave campaign finance a try
But then the highest court in the land
Said the 1st amendment must apply
Gotta play by the rules – now Johnny looks like a fool

Johnny and Mr. Obama
They both agree Gitmo should close
But bringing terrorists into the USA
Is a plan that we oppose
No, they don’t belong – and Johnny’s got it all wrong

Now Johnny and Senator Lieberman
Got together on cap and trade
Anemic hands across the aisle
Gonna send the country to its grave
It’s time to let him know – old Johnny’s gotta go

Johnny believes Global Warming
Limousine Liberals and all
Congressional junkets to Copenhagen
Everybody’s havin’ a ball
Just ask Al Gore - Johnny knows the score

S & L Man Charlie Keating
He came to Johnny one day
Said “the government boys are sniffing around
How much to make ‘em go away?”
Did Johnny take a bribe to join the Keating 5?

Now fast-forward 20 years later
Banks are in trouble again
Johnny says, “Let’s bail ‘em out
It’s just a trillion – or maybe ten.
Let’s put some wind in their sails – ‘cause they’re too big to fail.”

We know there’s oil in Alaska
Drilling won’t cause any harm
But Johnny agrees with the tree-hugging geeks
Gas is gonna cost a leg and an arm
Johnny why can’t you see what’s good for you and me?

Now everyone knows about ACORN
They get lots of taxpayers’ dough
Prostitution rings and voter fraud
And home loans to any old schmoe
No matter ACORN’s crimes – Johnny thinks they’re just fine

We’re tired of hearin’ your flip-flops
We’re tired of hearin’ your lies
You may think we’re all dummies but you can’t
Pull the wool over our eyes
You’re career’s hit a snag - so start packin’ your bags

‘Cause Johnny, you’ve worn out your welcome
It’s time to bid DC goodbye
Go write a book or learn to cook
And eat a little humble pie
Just ask Sheriff Joe – he says you gotta go

Yeah, go Johnny, go – it’s time to hit the road.
Good-bye
