You are aware of the fact that parts of one of the planes that hit the twin towers on 9/11 were found in the buidling they want to tear down right?
To: chris_bdba
Shoot, if people parts shot all that distance too, the Moose might be seeking to build where people will be continually trampling on top of one of the terrorists’ toenails. They wouldn’t want that would they? That would not be respectful, or did Mad Mo ever care about such things?

Bloomberg was the guy who, after the Times Square bombing attempt, suggested that it might have been the work of somebody “who doesn’t like the health care bill.”
To: RobinMasters
Don’t look at me. I supported his Republican primary opponents in the last 3 elections and voted for the Conservative Party candidate in the general. Bloomberg is a liberal Democrat in everything but name.

"Opponents of the proposed construction of a controversial mosque just blocks from Ground Zero "ought to be ashamed of themselves" for opposing it, Mayor Bloomberg said this morning." Bloomberg should put his money where his mouth is and proudly volunteer for their first clitorectomy.

I suggest we seriously consider hooking up NYC to tug boats and haul it off to the Mideastern Muslim country of their choice... The majority of New Yorkers do NOT want this mosque. And the majority of New Yorkers are beyond outraged at Bloomberg. Try educating yourself before you shoot off your mouth.
To: HiTech RedNeck
None of the union construction guys are willing to participate in building the mosque.

Odd tension in the Rat community. But good on them anyhow for that.

The majority of New Yorkers do NOT want this mosque. And the majority of New Yorkers are beyond outraged at Bloomberg. Try educating yourself before you shoot off your mouth. Too bad, you are going to get it anyway whether you like it or not...The people of New York made the bed that allowed this to happen, now lie in it...You want to fix this problem recall Bloomberg now! Anything short of that is nothing more than hot air.
If you think the union pukes won't build this think again...They can be bought and the Saudis have plenty of money.

BTW, Bloomberg only won by a handful of votes last time, and just like the elitist he is, he's acting as if he has a mandate. Many people were furious with him regarding his deals with the City Council thereby overturning TWO referendums pro term limits. So there's *that* seething cauldron of red hot anger boiling beneath the peoples' outrage at this latest “will of the people be damned” escapade of hizzoner.
