I don’t think I do. A lot of people were syaing EXACTLY the same type of things about Reagan in 1979 and 1980...I remember it well. They thought he was “just an actor” and he proved them all wrong. I believe Palin will do the same if given the chance...and I hope she gets it.
Yes, but by 1979 Reagan was the most astute politician in the country. An expert on communism, constititionalism, and supply side economics. He was 68 years old and wise. Much wiser than Bill Buckley, IMO. Sarah may get there, but she has 20+ years of learning ahead of her to do so.
