Can you explain why NO ethics charges were made BEFORE she was announced as Veep nominee, but proliferated immediately afterward? How had her position as Gov. changed? What issues were different?
Sarah realized that she would never be able to get anything done for Alaska, with all of these silly charges wasting her, and her staff's time. She had done as much as she could, and she knew that her Lt. Gov. would continue the work she had begun, and for which she was elected. By leaving the office, she was removing herself as a target. It was obvious that it was SHE, personally, who was the target, because AFAIK, her Lt.Gov. hasn't had to put up with that frap since he took over.
