Sarah Palin is not 'committed to running' for president in 2012, White House bid not her 'focus'
NY Daily News ^ | 8/4/10 | Nina Hartenstein

Sarah Palin may be a popular pick for Republicans in 2012, but the former Alaska Gov. is staying cagey on her presidential plans.

"I've never committed to running for president," Palin said on Fox News Sunday. "That's not where my focus is."

Instead, Palin says she is devoting her attention to getting Republicans back in office this fall.

Duncan Hunter is a solid conservative, Sarah Palin is a solid conservative. I would vote for either/both. Unfortunately, with open primaries, we will get another mccain.

And this thread is quite entertaining especially without the DUer type profanity. congrats to all for that.

2008 was a weak GOP field all around, but McCain won largely because Rudy fell in Florida and McCain cleaned up in New Jersey and New York which Rudy had gotten rigged to help him.

Without a doubt, the Huckster too played a big role in giving the nomination to McCain. By splitting the so-con 'abortion is the only issue, period' vote between himself and Romney, the RINO squishes and 'Rat crossovers got their man.

Yea, insulting FR and its members as cultists is real funny.

What is not funny is being a water-boy for the left, a RINO trait to be sure.

I know the chart is real, but hey, we had all positives and zero defecit under Clinton remember that? Why doesn’t your chart show that. Did you hear about the statistician who drowned in a river whose average is just 1” deep?

Look man, I’m going to vote republican cause that will be my only choice, but it will mean nothing, the country is being ruined, will continue to be ruined. I’m over it, life is but a wiff of smoke, eternity is foverer, the world is what it is ...

Rudy got New Jersey and New York to switch to winner-take-all. When Rudy fell in Florida, McCain subsequently won both of those states, and IMO at that point he was just too far ahead for anyone to catch him.

You're painting with too broad a brush. There are tons of freepers that aren't Palin cultists.

I think you are missing the point about who controls spending (hint, read the Constitution). So many forget that when the budget was balanced under the Clinton administration, it came after Republican congressional victory in 94. Remember the government shut down to force the President to agree to the balanced budget? That led to the Republican revolution of 96.

Oh no you don’t! Pissant is only going after Palin cultists who number about 2 dozen out of 100,000. Your Alinsky tactics won’t fly here.

Ya, and yet our party despises the man who made it all happen, Newt Gingrich, go figure ... My point is the democrats go for throat when they have the power, our team sits around and cowers for fear that somebody might not like them ...

Obama (in his sick mind) believes he’s doing what is right and to hell with being relected, he’s a true believer, our team, they don’t have 1/100th of what Obama has in the game, sad but true ...

Because Newt changed. He went from becoming an economic Conservative champion to slowly, becoming a wishy washy moderate the longer he was in DC.

The fact is, one look at the (ahem) 'editing' of this thread suggests that at least today, it is quite ok for the OP (pissant) to be called every sort of name and epithet, for Duncan Hunter, as fine a patriot as one can find, to be sneered at and made the butt of jokes by those unfit to shine his shoes (including one lame double-digit-IQ RudyBot), but refuting and rebuking such attacks is deemed worthy of the posts being 'removed by moderator'.

Draw your own conclusions.

All Michael Reagan did with that dubious rah-rah, was to embarrass himself, and sully his Dad’s memory by elevating someone who had not (and has not) achieved a fraction of what the Gipper did with his life.

52 percent of those polled in the latest Associate Press-Gfk survey said they had an unfavorable view of Palin, while only 45 percent saw her favorably.

Actually, that's pretty good, considering that's likely a poll of a cross-section of Americans, and not JUST Republicans. Seems like the more folks see, and hear of her, the more they realize that what the MSM told them about Sarah was a load of hogwash.

The only thing flying here are hurtful insults to fellow conservatives and their faiths, and it is disgusting, and counter-productive:

She could always buy a spread in Guyana and populate it with freepers.

What is really funny about those conducting this little jihad against so called Palin cultists is those who conduct the jihad end up starting more threads and making more comments on Palin than those they accuse of being in the cult.

This reminds me of those UFO cults who claim to be protecting us from an alien conspiracy but in reality, just keep the UFO stories alive.

Each and every comment by those conducting their little jihad just bumps the article to the top again and gives one more link to search engines on a Palin article.

It really does beg the question who is the ones really obsessed and acting like a cult?
