Missouri Votes to Block Health Insurance Mandate

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Missouri voters on Tuesday overwhelmingly rejected a key provision of President Barack Obama's health care law, sending a clear message of discontent to Washington and Democrats less than 100 days before the midterm elections.

With about 70 percent of the vote counted late Tuesday, nearly three-quarters of voters threw their support behind a ballot measure, Proposition C, that would prohibit the government from requiring people to have health insurance or from penalizing them for not having it.

That would conflict with a federal requirement that most people have health insurance or face penalties starting in 2014.

The Prop C movement was a grass roots movement. People bought their own signs and pass out flyers they printed at home. I bought my own sign and had it in the yard. Then I brought it to my polling station this morning and left it there all day. My 15 year old son walked the neighborhood and passed out flyers. I was not unique, many similar stories all over the state.

I am 100% certain the courts will void prop C. That's not what matters though. What MATTERS is that the Democrats and the MSN will be forced to realize that there is NOT a broad mandate for health care reform.

Democrats in competitive races are going to have to take notice. They now have a choice between possibly losing their seats or throwing Obama under the bus. Frankly I hope they do both.

So we have seen overwhelming support from the People against the left-wing fascist movement to force homo perverted morality on the People. Every state has rejected it when the people get to speak.

We have also seen overwhelming support of the AZ law to uphold the rule of law and defend our right to protect our nation from illegal invasion and a corrupt federal government.

And now we also have overwhleming support shown by the people against the fascist takeover of the health care market as well and that rejects the illegal intrusion on our rights.

When the people speak the liberal MSM and elite then need to try and spin the truth. We will see how they respond to this news tommorrow.
