my friend, there is no way in HELL there will ever be mass deportations or forced repatriations
So we better figure out how to make these people citizens AND libertarians
or at least entrepreneuers-
honest ones-
money grubbing taxpayers who resent supporting criminals and free loaders

We integrated a million Southeast Asians in the 70’s using sponsors- remember?

Enforce existing laws, heavily penalize employers, cut off social services, and they will repatriate themselves in droves.

The proponents of amnesty are wont to create the false choice between a blanket amnesty and mass deportation of 12 to 20 million illegal aliens. In reality, we have other choices and alternatives that don’t reward people who have broken our laws with the right to stay and work here and an eventual path to citizenship. The 12 to 20 million illegal aliens did not enter this country overnight and they will not leave overnight. Attrition through enforcement works. We have empirical data from Georgia, Oklahoma, and Arizona proving that it does.

Any legislation that legalizes the status of those who broke our laws by entering our country illegally and allows them to stay is amnesty. We must not only prevent the Democrats and some moderate Republicans from hijacking the meaning of the word amnesty, but the public must be made aware about the true impact of an amnesty. The Heritage Foundation concluded that the cost of amnesty alone would be $2.6 trillion. And the number of additional LEGAL immigrants who would join those who were the recipients of amnesty through chain migration, i.e., family reunification, would approach 70 million over a 20-year period, assuming there are only 12 million illegal aliens. We cannot assimilate such numbers. An amnesty would destroy the United States of America with the stroke of a pen.

‘my friend, there is no way in HELL there will ever be mass deportations or forced repatriations’.

We have forced repatriations at this very moment, no need to stop. No need for mass deportation, just seal the borders, make hiring illegals a jail time crime, take away all benefits for illegal aliens, and they will deport themselves.

“my friend (Line from John McCain?), there is no way in HELL there will ever be mass deportations or forced repatriations.”

There won’t be any mass deportations or forced repatriations but if the government ever decides to fully enforce the laws already on the book and give people a date as to when that enforcement will start, hopefully there will be a large mass exodus and the in-flux will cease.

That is a False Choice Fallacy.

(Also known as False: Dichotomy, Either/Or, Black/White, and probably a few others. Same thing. Only two choices, usually on the extremes, are given, and then argued away.)

Key word: SPONSORS

Who's going to support all those illegals already on the dole? Other illegals? You?

You don’t need to do mass deportations, and you don’t have to let them stay. illegals where/are leaving AZ in MASS just by the threat of the new law.

Go after the source of money (the employers) and enforce current laws and the problem will all but take care of it’s self.

I am all for sponsoring people that want to come here legally, but those here illegally have already proven to me they are NOT the type of people we want coming to our country. We have plenty of our own law breakers. We don’t need them from other countries.

We can and we will expel them... or the Union will split. Ike did it and so can we... if we take over the government through the ballot box and save this once Great Nation. As a matter of fact... they will expel themselves if we make jobs impossible and staying here as painful as we can. Otherwise... some of us will live in Freedom and Liberty... some of us will not... one way or the other.
