Arizona immigration law and Federalist number 27(Alexander Hamilton hits one out of the Park)

In the Federalist number 27, Alexander Hamilton commented upon how the states were to participate in executing the laws of the federal government:

"It merits particular attention in this place, that the laws of the confederacy, as to the enumerated and legitimate objects of its jurisdiction, will become the SUPREME LAW of the land; to the observance of, all officers, legislative, executive, and judicial, in each state, will be bound by the sanctity of an oath. Thus the legislatures, courts and magistrates, of the respective members, will be incorporated into the operations of the national government, as far as its just constitutional authority extends; and will be rendered auxiliary to the enforcement of its laws. Any man, who will pursue, by his own reflections, the consequences of the situation, will perceive, that if its powers are administered with a common prudence, there is good ground to calculate upon a regular and peaceable execution of the laws of the union."

The officers, legislature, Governor and police force of Arizona appear not only to understand not only their Constitutional duties exceedingly well but also the original intent of the authors of the Constitution.

It is worth mentioning that Hamilton wrote this passage in retort to objections raised at the time by opponents of the Constitution who feared that the federal government might be negligent in its duties and leave the States without recourse to defend themselves and enforce the law.

Maybe the stinking open-borders RINOs in FL and TX need to hear about this - scum like Crist, Perry, Kay Bailey, Cornyn, MccCollum (who is going to lose to Rick Scott), Jeb Bush, Connie MAck 3 (little sh*thead) and Marcos Rubios/Mel Martinez. Plus other La Raza scum like McCain and Graham-nesty.

This is also the most basic of common sense. The federal government will never have, and shouldn’t have, a sufficient number of personnel to enforce immigration law nationwide. The only way that can be done is with the involvement of law enforcement personnel at all levels, with local personnel being the most active in dealing with illegals.

People who don’t want local law enforcement involved in immigration law enforcement don’t want immigration laws enforced. This is not complicated.

Good ol’ Al Hamilton got it all right except for the following:

....”But though the adversaries of the proposed constitution should presume, that the national rulers would be insensible to the motives of public good, or to the obligations of duty; I would still ask them, how the interests of ambition, or the views of encroachment, can be promoted by such a conduct?”....

Hamilton never could foresee that the US might have an Administration whose purpose is to destroy our country. But, to be fair, neither could most contemporary conservatives, or especially the vast majority of people who voted for obama seeking “change and hope” amid the financial crisis of 2008.

Federal Immigration Law specifically asks for, enables and condones help from the states in order to carry out said Federal Immigration Law(s)!!!

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)
"State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so by state law. There is no extant federal limitation on this authority. The 1996 immigration control legislation passed by Congress was intended to encourage states and local agencies to participate in the process of enforcing federal immigration laws. Immigration officers and local law enforcement officers may detain an individual for a brief warrantless interrogation where circumstances create a reasonable suspicion that the individual is illegally present in the U.S. Specific facts constituting a reasonable suspicion include evasive, nervous, or erratic behavior; dress or speech indicating foreign citizenship; and presence in an area known to contain a concentration of illegal aliens."
