John McCain Using Money Contributed to (Palin) Presidential Campaign to Bash JD Hayworth
Intellectual Conservative ^ | July 25, 2010 | JD Hayworth

The campaign of U.S. Senate Candidate J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) today distributed to 300,000 Arizona voters a web-based advertisement highlighting Sen. John McCain's bait-and-switch campaign finance trickery. McCain transferred $4.65 million from his failed and lackluster 2008 Presidential campaign to his current campaign for re-election to the U.S. Senate. That money was given to McCain while he was trying to defeat a liberal Democrat for President, but instead he saved it to run against a conservative Republican for Senate. Meanwhile, a separate organization is instructing McCain contributors how to get their 2008 contributions refunded. To go to organization's website, CLICK HERE.

Remember, any money sent in for the general election wouldn’t have been used because he was taking public financing.

And since Palin has endorsed him, it’s not like he’s using the money from their campaign against a candidate she supports.

What is wrong with the AZ voting public? Are they really this stupid?

I thought someone said the money was being used for "get out the vote" for the 08 Presidential Election.

If the money I donated then wasn't used to beat Obama, I am pretty PO'd. And if it is being used to beat a more conservative candidate, I am additionally PO'd.

Since Palin supported him bigtime, I don’t see how this is an issue, I’m sure she knows.

Sadly, most people in all categories are ruminant herd animals. Not malevolent, just cud chewers.

Scant thought, abundant methane.

Since it’s the primary, you’re talking about Republicans.

Anybody who sent McCain money deserves to see it go down the drain like this. RINOs are worthless to us. Let the Dems win and get the blame if necessary. Look at this hollow Scott Brown thing. His vote against Obamacare was worthless, it passed anyway, and his vote FOR the financial takeover was better for the Dems coming as it did from a Repub and puttng them over the top too. Incredible. RINOs? Just say No.

Portrait of a loser. Does Hayworth have even the slightest clue how whiny he sounds.

Or how hypocritical? HE “standing up” for Sarah Palin, over something she didn’t complain about but indeed by her endorsement of McCain implicitly approves?

geez.
