Not to be a jerk, but when you are talking about Scotch, it is spelled whisky. In Scotland and Canada, it is whisky. In Ireland and Kentucky, it is whiskey. If you want to know why, well, you will have to stop by and I will pour you a glass of bourbon, and go over the whole story.
