I’d bet that Rangle made a back door deal to already step down, thus allowing the dems to pile on him to look honest.
He will step down and keep his pension and all his perks. He is getting up in the age.
Rangel resigned last week, its just been kept secret I’m sure.
This allows him to keep his perks, and his pension, he gets a lobbyist job or ambassador spot, and the dems get to use him as a whipping boy.

imho - Rangel is being thrown under the bus intentionally by order of the Ruling Class. The Libs know they need to make a good show to the independent voters if they want to hang on to majority rule in Congress come November. Russert is just following orders like his father.

4th generation welfare is the result of decades of social engineering, and businesses who lobby for illegals to be allowed free rides, so they can use them as employees at low wages and don't have to pay benefits (the Taxpayers carry the medical, tax, and education cost burdens. That's the illegal immigration problem in a nutshell, where politicians look the other way to keep the corporate/business donations coming, so the low-pay workforce can be had.
