What’s a “moderate” California judge “moderate” about?
Guns? Abortion? Immigration? Taxation? PETA? Death Penalty?
Would anyone in Wyoming call her “moderate”?
The California Supreme Court routinely, and nearly always unanimously, affirms every death sentence (although many are later thrown out by the federal courts). The Court is very pro-prosecution in criminal cases, but quite liberal in most other areas (despite being made up of almost all Republican appointees).
