I am convinced that most of the people who hate Rush have never listened to him because he comes on during the work day. Instead they listen to Savage because he comes on later in the afternoon and they just assume that Rush says the same things.
The thing about savage is that he isn't even consistent, he will rail on someone for doing or saying something, and then the next thing you know he is doing or saying the same thing. In my opinion he is more of a shock jock than a political talk show host. And he is very Petty and automatically hates anyone he is in direct competition with.
In short he is everything the left accuses conservative talk radio of being.
Listening to Rush Limbaugh is like watching paint dry.
I started listening to Rush back in 1988 when he was only on a few stations like 770ABC out of NYC. He really broke the mold and was different. But during the 1990’s I began to realize that there is only a slight difference between the dems and reps. I can’t stand the dems and Gingrich let us all down. Rush has refused to stand up for anycandidate other than the chosen ones, like “Bob Dole”, and John McCain. Losers who wouldn’t have changed very much anyway. So here’s Savage, I’ve read some of his books and he’s hoonest and funny. Beck is readin from the New American and is not giving credit where it is due. It’s all schtick.
