Black Tea Party Candidate Says Illinois Democrats Are Racist

On the heels of an NAACP resolution denouncing alleged racism with the Tea Party, a black Tea Party candidate has turned the tables, claiming that Illinois Democrats are being racist against her.

Cedra Crenshaw, a Republican supporter of the Tea Party, is running for Illinois state Senate for the 43rd District. But her candidacy was challenged on a technicality — Crenshaw’s outdated nominating petition forms stated signatures could be collected no earlier than 90 days before the filing deadline, but a new law mandates signatures can be collected no earlier than 75 days before the deadline.

The Will County Electoral Board voted 2-to-1 down party lines to remove her from the ballot, a move that Crenshaw said was racist on the part of the Democrats.

“In essence, they are trying to disenfranchise the voters of the 43rd district,” Crenshaw said in a radio podcast. “This goes far beyond me. The Will County Board of Elections waited over six weeks to render this decision on a technicality.”

Crenshaw is running in an attempt to unseat Democratic state Sen. A.J. Wilhemi. She is appealing the board’s decision and a judge will hear arguments Tuesday.

Speculation about whether racism is actually the root of the issue continues to fly back and forth. Crenshaw’s supporters say Democrats don’t want to see the black stay-at-home mom succeed; others who disagree with the racism claim say it’s simply because Crenshaw is a Republican, not because she is black.

Sure the NAACP is jumping to help the sister out, right?

Well of course they’re racist! A guy who loves black people so long as they “pick dat cotton” is a freaking racist! And that’s what these douches are - perfectly comfortable as long as the “colored folk” know their place. If you disagree with them, if you ask questions, and most especially, IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND, suddenly, you’re not black. You’re just a deeply tanned cracker.

It seems the only people who don’t know about Democrat racism are blacks.

When I was a little kid, I put saltine crackers in the toaster oven. What came out did not taste good.

That’s about how I imagine the Democrats and liberals respond to Black Republicans and conservatives.

I suppose what's good for the goose and all that, but I don't think a Republican should be playing the race card because her petition forms were not legal.

I wonder when the NAALCP will be calling them Oreos or Uncle Toms or some other racist and derogatory names?

I wonder if Cedra Crenshaw is ‘black enough’ for the Democrats? We were told that Obama wasn’t “Black Enough” for these racists, but Michele had ‘slave blood’ so she “counted” as the first Black First Lady.

Then how do they explain ALVIN GREENE down in South Carolina ? He's a Democrat.

Since Greene refused to quit, (he won the primary fair and square) they are forced to rehabilitate him. He's even in the Chicago news market where they now refer to him as " Alvin Greene, a veteran", "Working for change against Republican incumbent", etc. He'll be a hero by the end of summer.

Being a democrat means you never have to commit yourself to a position on anything.

I think if you check you will find that this is an old Obama trick. It’s how he got elected.

By challenging his opponents legality.

I’m loving this. People are finally getting tired of being on defense against the NAACP, and they are finally going on the offense. Andrew Brietbart has the right idea: “The NAACP can go to hell”.

but I don't think a Republican should be playing the race card because her petition forms were not legal.

If you read more about this situation, you will find that if that's all it was, there would be no problem. She could have just started over with the petitions. They 'delayed' ruling on it until it was too late. They changed it from 90 days to 75, to favor the Democrats. (Because it doesn't take but very long to forge a bunch of names on a petition).

I think had she gotten a new petition going, they would have told her it was 'too late' to submit.

Was it not a 'race' issue?

The only thing DEMOCRATS perceive as WORSE than a BLACK REPUBLICAN is a FEMALE BLACK REPUBLICAN.

Especially if she is attractive, and smart, and qualified.

Oprah had 'slave blood'. I know it's true because I saw her on 'ROOTS'.

Of course, Oprah is also a direct descendant of a ZULU WARRIOR QUEEN, so how her descendants got to be slaves is pretty murky.

What is not often mentioned (when Oprah 'disses' her rich white oppressors) is that Oprah has a 'domestic partnership' with a RICH WHITE JEWISH GUY.

The DEMOCRATS opposed Alvin Greene because....

They didn’t know where he got his funding.
He had no experience.
He was an ‘unknown’.
He was a patriot. He served in the Armed Forces.
He wasn’t ‘rich’. He hadn’t taken any bribes.
He wasn’t part of the ‘good ole boys’ network of politicians.

Yet, if elected, I doubt he could do worse than the corrupt, biased, prejudiced, criminally financed liars and thieves that are currently in government positions.

But, Cynthia, actually, voted for herself as a Green Party candidate for POTUS. She DIDN’T vote for Obama.
