More great news: Bristol Palin, Levi Johnston reportedly shopping reality show
Hot Air ^ | 7/16/10 | allahpundit

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes … a Gosselin-esque bit of child exploitation? Granted, it’s TMZ that’s reporting it, but this isn’t the only data out there pointing towards a show of some kind. Ricky Hollywood’s lawyer was conspicuously noncommittal when asked about it by the NYT, saying ominously, “I can’t talk about that until the end of the week.”

What could go wrong?

Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are already looking to bring outsiders into their upcoming marriage — in the form of a reality TV crew … this according to a source very familiar with the negotiations.

TMZ has learned the couple has been shopping “multiple reality shows” around town — some of the ideas involve the couple AND their two-year-old son, Tripp.

We’re told the leading concept involves all three people — and will focus on “parenting issues.”

I’ll give you three possibilities. One: Palin’s gone mad and has secretly blessed this freak show on the assumption that the buzz will somehow help her politically.

Did you see Bristol’s robotic acting debut?

video: See Bristol Palin’s Dramatic Acting Debut!

The 19-year-old mother and abstinence advocate, who is daughter to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, makes her dramatic acting debut on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

I hope if Levi insists on a reality show that he keeps his clothes on and ideally his MOUTH SHUT. This “marrige” doesn’t have a chance ... . It will be tabloid fodder.

Yes, Palin worship is at a fever pitch so the messnger must be ridiculed. Pissant, you’re not the only one that doesn’t want another dysfunctional family in the WH. This is getting to be ridiculous!

Sarah Palin is probably an OK person. She has some good sound bites, has a sense of humor and says things that many can agree with, however she is very shallow.

Every now and then though, the Populist in her emerges. I don't WANT ILLEGAL DRUGS LEGALIZED. Sarah Palin is not a conservative! Her family is so dysfunctional that it should scare anyone.

While she is an advocate for “special need” kids, how would she know anything about that? She isn't around to raise her own! It's crazy. Let her sling insults at the Democrats but for God's sake, don't make her President.

Look, you can probably find at least twice the dysfunction in any lib Dem family...God knows how much in the Kennedy’s. IMO, this doesn’t mean that Sarah is bad or stupid or the Daughter of the Devil. How many people have a child who is a bit of a embarresment to them? Does that make them evil people?

The good news is it will be the end of Palin’s chances to run for prez.

Thank you for finally revealing where your true motives lie. Of course, most of us knew it already, even though you protested (of I like her... blah blah blah) when confronted.

She was never on your list to begin with.

Curious, are you taking BobJ's place now with the McGinnis type of obsession with Bristol Palin?

Reagan had kid troubles, as did Carter and GWB. I swear some people are still living in Camelot with their need for the ‘perfect’ family. And people who say they won’t vote for someone because of the actions of their children? Please. The worst kind of moral grandstanding there is.

You have jumped to a conclusion without any information as to who I am: I have some facts and observations to form an opinion.

I am a Scots-Irish descendant whose matriarchal genesis was buried in the family plot in the Cumberland Mtns. in 1756. I lived within walking distance of that cemetery for the first 30 yrs of my life. I know my people. I see them in upper Wisconsin, the post industrial towns of the Midwest, the Cajuns in Lousiania, the Okies who stayed in OK and the ones who migrated to CA. So yes, I Know my people and I’ll stand by the statement that Alaskans embarrass us red-neck, hillbilly, crackers.

Not all Alaskans are like that. There are hundreds of thousands of them. Can you possibly know them all?

I said 6 months ago she had time to change her mind still on Amnesty. I figgered she was smart enough to do so. Alas, on O’Reilly she confirmed she hasn’t a clue.

Palin = amnesty queen = no dice.

Bob J is an open borders amnesty chump, just like Palin. If I recall, he’s Johnny Suttons #1 fan too.

Trying to lump this conservative in with that jellyfish ain’t going to cut it.

You are absolutely correct. In any given population there are exceptions, but there is a reason for generalities, as with stereotypes, there is a great percentage of truth in them.

It is my opinion that Alaska is at the point that Australia was 50 years after it being a penal colony.

The highway police will tell you 70% of their stops is alcohol related and a 100% guarantee that there is a weapon is in the vehicle.

It is the last resort for individualistic, self-determined, loners that live by their own rules, and not all within the rule of law.

Trying to lump this conservative in with that jellyfish ain’t going to cut it.

It does when you both share an increasingly obsessive fascination with Palin and her family. Of course, your history with continual Hunter slobberfest threads was a good indicator of this inclination for most.

And your amnesty line? Laughable.

I'll ask the exact same question I asked another poster: would you welcome a Sarah Palin endorsement of 'your guy'- whoever that may be?
