(CNN) -- Colombian authorities have proof that high-ranking leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, live in Venezuela, the Colombian government said Thursday.
Colombian President Alvaro Uribe issued a statement listing their names.
Among them is one with the alias "Ivan Marquez;" Rodrigo Granda, whose alias is "Ricardo;" Timoleon Jimenez, whose alias is "Timochenko;" German Briceno, whose alias is "Grannobles;" and Carlos Marin Guarin, whose alias is "Pablito." The president said there are other "integral members" of the group in Venezuela.
Venezuela and Colombia have strained relations.

Oh, that's right. He only has time to aim his fire at Arizona, bankers, insurance co.s & those right wing extremists militia types. Of course, he's still got time to knock down 18 holes of golf, and host night after night of celebrity parties at the WH.
And Columbia can’t send in a hit squad, because Hugo, with his country in tatters, would probably like to go to war in order to save his scabrous butt, er,,, face!
The oil company nationalization? Well we know that Obama is conducting a secret war against Coal and Oil. That is why many major oil companies have moved their head offices out of the USA.Its an exodus.

Nothing in the article is really new. The only surprise is that CNN is reporting it.
Chavez is FARC. When Chavez took power in Venezuela FARC took power. Prior to winning the presidency Chavez was on FARC’s payroll, and since then FARC has been on Chavez’ payroll.
Especially in the early days of his presidency he had FARC men as his bodyguards, he frequently had FARC officers on stage with him during military ceremonies. FARC men have been issued Venezuelan passports and citizenship.
There have been several reports of FARC attacking from across the line in Venezuela, the Colombian military have seized several weapons caches which were from Venezuelan military stores. There have been reports of FARC attacks supported with Venezuelan aircraft. It was not a secret that Venezuela has been FARC’s safe rear zone for years, for years FARC commander Marulanda was based in Venezuela. Reports from a prisoner freed by FARC revealed that their “high value” hostages were kept in Venezuela. So when Chavez has offered to facilitate their release, he is not blowing smoke, they are in camps on his side of the border.
Shortly before Marulanda’s death when he was on the Colombian side of the border and hard pressed by the Colombian military, Chavez sent his troops to the border and threatened to invade in order to cover Marulanda’s retreat to safety on the Venezuelan side. He died not long after of cancer I believe.
