The 'electable' RINO governor is now tied with Gray Davis. So what would happen to the next 'electable' RINO governor of CA?

That is why we should never vote for a RINO. The Conservatives will receive the blame for their immutable failures.

He’s as much of a Republican as Mayor Bloomberg in NYC or Charlie Crist in FL.

I think the post-mortem is long overdue. This all happened in 2005, with the propositions. The outcome was definite.

For someone who used to see the “Gray-Out” stickers on trucks around Sacramento County it’s discouraging

I'm not going to defend Arnonld, because he just isn't defensible. BUT, blaming this governor or any governor of California for California's mess, is asinine.

California has created a political system that is unmanageable. Between the ballot initiatives, and the power wielded by the legislature, the Executive has been rendered practically feckless and without the power to effect any meaningful changes. Look at how many of Arnold's attempts to reduce or freeze spending have been undone by the judiciary.

California is unsalvageable. Until they make substantive changes to their constitution, and legislative process, no Governor can cure what ails them. For this reason, I think it best that Moonbeam win the election because I'd MUCH rather have a Democrat at the helm of the USS California as she sinks from the debt-berg, which is plainly predictable and completely unavoidable.

Schwarzenegger is just another Obama, Reid, Pelosi supporter going down the drain.

My heart goes out to the California conservatives, it must be hell for them. From where I sit, California looks like a dead state.

Although as bad as RINO Schwarzenegger has been, I doubt that anyone could have saved that state.... it’s been on death watch for decades.
