That was painful to watch. The “defender” (and Fox News contributor) Kristen Powers was absolutely clueless and utterly partisan, but steadfast in her determination to turn every question about the specifics of the case into a “well, in the BUSH administration...” straw man. Geez-o-pete, what a complete moron. No, she didn’t know the testimony in question, she hadn’t read the transcripts or seen any interviews, and apparently hadn’t even seen the video of the actual intimidation, yet she was vehement in her defense of the New Black Panthers and the outrageous conduct of the Obama administration in dropping the case AFTER conviction. She should be ashamed to call herself a journalist.
Worst of all, Kirsten incredibly open with her bias and what it amounted to; a defense for the Black Panthers! Disgusting! she shows herself as no more than a 'useful idiot'. This was a damning performance on her behalf; but it was enlightening. . .
And Megan, is a treasure.
And thankfully, we have 'youtube'. . .so far, anyway.

I didn’t either, especially because she missed the opportunity to cross-question her on having said earlier that there was no intimidation and then saying that there was.
I listened to that. Megyn was furious that she din’t have a clue about the issue. Megyn asked her at least 3 times if she had READ the case.
Talk about a pathetic example of Dum mouthpieces, she may be the worse. Good Job Megyn!

NO, it did not.
Kirsten kept saying that the Bush Administration didn’t prosecute voter intimidation cases during their administration. There was never a case where there was a video of voter intimidation, especially of someone of the equivalent of the KKK or Black Panthers with a night stick. Kirsten also said at the beginning of the segment that she didn’t really think it was intimidation, because people were walking by. First of all, the cameras had showed up at that point. Secondly, eye witnesses later confirmed the intimidation before the cameras were there, including Bartle Bull. Thirdly, just because people walked by doesn’t mean it wasn’t voter intimidation. Some blacks voted during the early 1960’s, but that doesn’t mean that voter intimidation didn’t take place.

I love Megyn! I’ll tell you what...I wouldn’t want to argue anything against her.
I'm tickled that at least one reporter, are finally throwing the lib's tactics back at them.
Powers tried the "shout over the argument instead of facing it" and "You didn't care when it was (President) Bush..." tactic and got shut down (except for the whine).

Powers really blew it in this interview, she said she had not read the testimony about this or studied the transcripts, rather she had talked directly to the justice department and took their word for it there was no there, there... she basically excused voter intimidation as no one got hurt. Megan was already fired up having just played the Brad Sherman tape and Powers only excuse was the whistle blower was a Republican and the Bush justice department had been partisan, too....... pathetic, pathetic, pathetic describes Powers here ...
Kirsten clearly doesn’t want to see blacks being accused of racism.

I really liked the way she handled shabazz. I can’t quote verbatim, but the part about “sir, have you used the term ‘cracker’ in reference to persons of caucasian descent?” And, “what other racial, ethnic, or religious groups have you used derogatory slurs against?”.
