Thanks!
They don't have the 'micro-breakdown' that I was wondering about - but thanks anyways for the link.
I think they would see some pretty marked differences based on their ancestral homes in Asia.
Oh, I left out my speculation on those who emigrated (most would be first Generation immigrants) from India or Pakistan. Those from India would tend to be Democrats (mostly being from the upper classes/castes and falling into the bleeding-heart liberal end of the spectrum). Those from Paki-land used to trend Republican. But with 9-11, I suspect that they might be going for the stealth muslim in the White House (although most of them would find the Dem policies odious). And I suspect the Sikhs would trend Republican (even post 9-11).
It would be an interesting study.
There are all kinda ways to present data, but I thought the following breakdown was interesting.
Voter registration in California among BLACK voters is 83% Democrat.
Voter registration in California among LATINO voters is 57% Democratic.
Voter registration in California among WHITE voters is 40% Democrat.
Voter registration in California among ASIAN voters is 30% Democrat.
