"Although these are very preliminary data, experts suggest that the hot weather may have been the cause for some of the increase," a HPA spokesman said.

is their any doubt that we are living in the world of the big lie?
Or, alternatively, the hot weather caused something else (like caregivers to go on vacation) which caused the deaths.
guess the government needs to give out some airconditioners.
I have always been of the opinion that there is no reason anyone should die in a heat wave so long as they have water. It seems to be mostly the elderly who die...so maybe it sort of sneaks up on them and they get dehydrated before they realize it. Once dehydrated, people don’t think clearly. Anyway, it is wouldn’t hurt to check on elderly friends, relatives, and neighbors during a heat wave, just to be sure they are taking care of themselves.
The temperatures in their “heat wave” went up to 89f. LOLOL
I wish it had gotten down to 89 here, it would have been a pleasant break.
Global warming and government healthcare - the liberals dream come true.
