Yeah, but isn’t the Interior Department about to issue a new moratorium? I also read that arguments in the lawsuit start next month. So as far as I know, there’s major uncertainty about when this deepwater drilling ban will be lifted.
Once all the available rigs go overseas, the ban will be irrelevant. That is the point.
I heard on the radio that the next hearing is scheduled for sometime in August. That’s 4 weeks at best.
