The nation's debt leapt $166 billion in a single day last week, the third-largest increase in U.S. history, and it comes at a time when Congress is balking over higher spending and debt has become a key policy battleground. The one-day increase for June 30 totaled $165,931,038,264.30 - bigger than the entire annual deficit for fiscal year 2007 and larger than the $140 billion in savings the new health care bill will produce over its first 10 years.

The list, ping
“larger than the $140 billion in savings the new health care bill will produce over its first 10 years.” Savings my a$$.
With all of the trillions being spent, I have seen no tangible change evidence of the spending. At least when Roosevelt was digging us into a hole you’d see giant public works projects, giant military gear being constructed etc. Barry just seems to directly purchase votes with the money, but there’s no benefit to the public at large. The trilliion dollar stimulus just seemed to buy the fortunate few a year’s worth of spending money, but we’re back to square one. Barry is probably laying in bed right now thinking “maybe if I just double down on the trillion we just spent, we can spend our way to recovery. Worst President ever.
Oh come now! We’re in good hands. Barry got that email from Nigeria. We are saved!
Not to worry.
There’s always tomorrow, which’ll be even larger than today’s debt.
Bush
Stick a fork in DC, its well done.
Be sure to send your “Thank you” cards to the current idiotPOTUS.....oh wait, they will come out long before your “Thank you” cards arrive at the White House and blame .... Bush. My bad.... =.=
Do your frakin homework, Dinan......your alleged “ and larger than the $140 billion in savings the new health care bill will produce over its first 10 years” has already been REVISED and UPDATED by the, you guessed it, the same ones who came out with the alleged deficit savings.....CBO.
