I give out brave firefighters a lot of credit...after the second time, I would not have come out again.

Well, what do you expect from mere savages?

...after the second time, I would not have come out again. After a couple of attacks, I would have been tempted to come back and set a fire, myself, and not answer the alarm.

Suggestion for next year - turn the fire hoses on the attackers, full force. That’ll extinguish the fuses on the fireworks.

Why not just return fire...with water cannons.

I’m guessing this is a housing complex filled with vicious Scandinavian immigrants.

All the answers are in that one sentence.

I am thinking that they should have used a few M72 laws rockets and a few 40mm grenades in response.

Stupid way to have fun. They’ll need those responders when the housing project catches fire - which may not be too long.

That's exactly what the Palestinians and Islamic "youths" in Paris do. Nice company. This is America, folks.

Well, then. Post signs to the effect around the 4th, that any fires set will NOT be put out. Let the savages burn there own homes down, then in the morning, find who was responsible and turn them over to their ‘buddies’. Repeat.
People who attack the fire department should not get protection. Don’t like it, move.

There was a housing project in my battalion where people would throw beer bottles at us when we arrived. This was about twenty years ago. We'd kill the sirens a couple of blocks away and slide in quietly.
It got pretty bad after the cops shot one guy who was chasing another guy with an ax. Surprisingly, the housing authority cracked down after that and kicked out a bunch of troublemakers. It was never a good place, but after that we could go in and take care of business without too many hassles.
