A Democrat member of the KKK even once fabricated an “enrollment card” application under the name Phil Gramm. Texas Monthly did a lengthy article about it (and held off on revealing that the application was a hoax until late in the article).

The Rats will stoop to any trick to try to steal an election.

You are exactly right, but I thought it was The New Republic that did the article on Phil Gramm. I actually hunted it for in my old, back copies. No wonder I couldn’t find it. Do you know which issue of Tex. Monthly it was? I subscribe to that too.

Ha! I found it and it was the New Republic, July 15, 1996 issue. The title was “Loathing in Las Vegas” and it was written by John Judis. Bastard.
