Well, he has lost me. I was doing every gymnastic I could to avoid condemning him until he voted for theDodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act.

This anti-business statist legislation that THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WILL DO, written by two men who should be in JAIL...and Senator Brown voted for it.

I cannot countenance anyone who voted for that. I just cannot. I wish someone could convince me otherwise, because for the first time in my life, I cannot take the traditionally pragmatic accept the lesser of two evils.

I simply don’t know how to approach this, and I must say, it distresses me to no end. The vote on the Dodd-Frank bill was a slap in the face to me. Maybe some of his other supporters don’t feel that way, but I do.

Damn.

I’m truly sorry to hear that but I guess you should feel relieved to have found the basis for abandoning him. I hope you find a good candidate for the seat he occupies until 2012 that you can endorse without having to sink to pragmatism...one who will be an absolutely ideal and reliable vote for those critical issues you support...perhaps a rising star in the Massachusetts Assembly or Senate which is probably where the next Senator from Massachusetts will come from..

Just a reminder that when Brown was running, it was for “...the People’s seat...” When he won, he said, “This Senate seat belongs to no one person, no one political party,” but I’ll take him over a Kennedy or a Coakley any day.
