McRINO 2007: Co-Sponsors Amnesty Bill With Ted Kennedy. McRINO 2010: “No Amnesty, Send Them Back”

(The Hill)- Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Tuesday he would favor immigration reform that would deport most of the residents of the United States who are here illegally.

McCain, who at one point had been the top Republican advocate for immigration legislation promising a pathway to citizenship for some illegal immigrants, said he favored establishing a guest worker program. But McCain expressed opposition to any program that would give illegal immigrants a way to become citizens.

“No amnesty. Many of them need to be sent back,” McCain said during an interview on KQTH-FM in Tucson, Ariz.

Once the border is secured, McCain said, “a temporary legal worker program has to be part” of immigration reform. But he made it clear that program would be for those who want to enter the country as part of that future program, and not those who came to the United States illegally.

Nicely done. But on a more serious note, here's a bit ofwisdom concerning fence-sitters and compromiser like McCain:

"There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil. The man who is wrong still retains some respect for truth, if, only, by accepting the responsibility of choice. But the man in the middle is the knave who blanks out the truth in order to pretend that no choice or values exist, who is willing to sit out the course of any battle, willing to cash in on the blood of the innocent or to crawl on his belly to the guilty, who dispenses justice by condemning both the robber and the robbed to jail, who solves conflicts by ordering the thinker and the fool to meet each other halfway. In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit. In that transfusion of blood which drains the good to feed the evil, the compromiser is the transmitting rubber tube."

Like the snowshoe hare changing fur depending on the season, the Snowshoe Maverick becomes more conservative as the primary gets closer. Do not fear for him, as he will revert back to his moderate beliefs by November and be able to use his camouflage to blend into the Democrat background.

McCain: ““a temporary legal worker program has to be part” of immigration reform. “

This lying old coot. He knows we don’t need yet another ‘guest worker’ program! This is all grandstanding to keep his globalist butt in office and you had better BET as soon as he’s re-elected you will get AMNESTY.

NEW PERMANENT & TEMPORARY WORK PERMITS — 160,000 PER MONTH

951,247

That is the number of PERMANENT work permits given in the form of green cards to working-age immigrants over the 12-month period.

As much as I like J.D., is there anything to the argument that McCain could help attract independents by campaigning with candidates like Rubio in FLA?

I assume McCain has a pretty big war chest and polls I’ve seen show him with a big lead in the general if he gets the nod, so he’d have money and time to spread; especially in states and districts that he won in 2008.

I’d take McCain, if it helped get Rubio and a couple other conservatives elsewhere... thoughts?

Words aren't adequate to describe how detestable this lying, deceiving, flip/flopping hypocrite is. And it is almost beyond belief that any group of voters would swallow this load of lying nonsense and vote for this character again.

But JD did that infomercial about government grants (and Juan featured the same thing on his website). Can Arizona voters really be this easily hoodwinked, or can they be this deluded?

“No amnesty. Many of them need to be sent back,”

Since he does not say all, I assume that he has some kind of criteria to decide who should go. I expect that once his long list of exemptions are applied, we will send back maybe 3 or maybe as many as 4 illegals.

And then those 4 will sue the Federal Government and settle for something in the 6 figure range.

You're a good man, Charlie Brown (nose).

We have got to take our country back. It’s very late in the day.
