I lived in Hays County for six years and had multiple encounters with the Sheriff’s department there and the deputies were never anything less than courteous and professional. I hope these charges prove to be baseless.

“From the account...” that’s really all we have at this point, isn’t it?

Not saying this is not true, I’m saying it seems out of character with my very brief experiences with the department.

If true, I hope the deputies face the consequences, but I still hope it isn’t true.
