Four deputies rough up an 80 year old man and knock his son unconscious? Infuriating! These deputies should be in jail. The @sshole on the other side of the fence must be mighty proud.

I’m glad Kenneth Threadgill isn’t around to see this travesty ...

Now c'mon, y'all.

these fine deputies are just fine tuning their training for when "the WON" declares Martial Law and they start rounding up all us Tea Party Terrorists for the internment camps.

These 'officers of the law' have been thoroughly brain washed) ah, schooled in tactics to take down 'enemies of the Obama State' -

Be afraid.

Be very afraid.

The old gentleman may have a $1,000 dollar fine hanging over his head - but he should end up owning that police dept.

neighbor, who witnessed the incident, confirmed that he saw two deputies throw the 80-year-old Threadgill to the ground then jump on his head and back while wrenching his arms behind him until Threadgill screamed out in pain. He then looked over to see Stephen unconscious on the ground with two other deputies handcuffing him.

The thug cop division gets up set when you do not kneel properly. It's a wonder they didn't taze him four are five times.

I lived in Hays County for six years and had multiple encounters with the Sheriff’s department there and the deputies were never anything less than courteous and professional. I hope these charges prove to be baseless.

One, why did FOUR deputies need to respond?

Two, what you wanta’ bet the lodge employs the deputies as part time guards? Something sure is up. I hope the old man and his son end up owning Hays county.

That kind of force by LEO when their lives weren’t in jeopardy is inexcusable, especially against an 80 yr. old.

The comment beneath the story about LE training these days is more than a little bit alarming, if it’s true. And, it might be true considering what kids are taught in public schools and “institutions of higher learning”.
