Sort of ironic the former 3rd world in Asia has or is building first class infrastructure but the US is deteriorating to 3rd world.

It's about time India got some private design firms and contractors to build some decent airports. I've been through old Indian airports several times on business and the Soviet-style poor quality and antiquated equipment throughout was striking - along with some floor cleaner that left a reek of kerosene everywhere. Glad they finally realized how poor a first impression those decrepit, undersized terminals were making on new arrivals.
