Obama has admitted that the Federal Government itself is helpless to enforce the law or secure the border. Why do we have a Federal Government, then?

It’s Obama’s job to enforce Federal law. He doesn’t get to pick and choose. He’s choosing not to enforce the law here for his own political advantage.

Sounds like they’ve abdicated their duties under Article IV, Section 4, to wit:
‘The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion;...”

So would this fall under the High Crimes and Misdemeanors part? or the “...adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort...” part?
