That sexy Russian spy, Anna Chapman, is everywhere this week, with pictures and excerpts from Facebook showing up throughout the media.
But Mediaite has obtained a never-before-seen video of Chapman talking about how great a time she had at New York Entrepreneur Week (she attended in November and April). We have a feeling you’ll be seeing this a lot.
So here’s the deal – Chapman went to NYEW in November and enjoyed it. A production company, And Now Media, was putting together a video of attendees at the November event describing how good a time they had, in anticipation of the April event. Chapman was interviewed (wonder why? hint – sexy spy), but the footage wasn’t used. She later attended in April. We hear she was quite aggressive in expanding her network and making contacts.
Fast forward! According to Chapman, as you’ll see in the exclusive video below, she is starting a company called “Property Finder” although that is “just a corporate name.” She’s the founder. What she says in the video, which was filmed February 24, she wants to buy the domain name NYCRentals.com. Well this is an active site. There’s a number listed, but no one’s picking up today. Intriguing. Maybe someone should go spy on them? If you’re in New York, the address is 20 Exchange Place.

This says one of two possible things - If this is the best the Russians can do, they're doomed. If she actually compromised US policy making or intelligence in any way, we're doomed.
Just the tip of the iceberg. These are the ones we do know about. There are potentially tens of thousands of Russian/neo-Soviet agents here that we don’t know about. Many defectors have hinted at this.

Neither is the case. This "ring" existed in addition to the traditional, serious spying. What you should think of is the Roosevelt administration, which was heavily infiltrated by by the Russians. This occurred for the same reason as now: there are many honest sympathizers. Back then, they were not just anti-American but communists or communist sympathizers. I doubt any of these spies is a communist, but they are certainly anti-American. Not particularly so --- just at par with most of the academe, media and Michelle "we-are-a-mean-country" Obama.
Politico reported yesterday that one of Hilary Clinton's closest friends (and big time DNC money men) might have been a target. They didn't give many specifics, or say if he was compromised in any way, but one of the spies that was captured had been working for some time at a financial services firm that catered almost exclusively to other big time DNC money men.
It wouldn't take a whole lot to uncover deals that would be compromising for these people. Then, there's some leverage to use by the Russians to get subtle, but important changes to pending legislation or decisions by State, especially when those you're targeting are close friends and political allies to the current Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton.
Unfortunately, it will probably be decades before the whole story is told. Unless of course Oliver Stone makes another movie and blames it all on George Bush.
Clearly, right? She apparently passed herself off as a Belgian national. Didn't her accent make anyone curious. It's pronounced in that video, IMHO.
It's almost like a bad actress in an audition trying to portray a femme fatale, only she's doing it very, very poorly.

It's almost like she's a character in a "This is Spinal-Tap" kind of mockumentary about the spy business.
There's a story in the NY Times from late last night where one of the spy's kids is interviewed, along with Facebook comments from some of the neighbor kids and both interviews read like a bad script, a really bad script. The whole thing is bizarre.
Even the talk shows are making it sound like no big deal.
I heard a comment this morning saying that everything is on Google and they were probably googling for info and giving that info so they could get their paycheck.

Agreed, free her and her friends. If one wants real threats to the security of the USA one need only go to the White House or Capitol Hill.
She is definitely slavic in origin, high cheekbones and eyes are a dead giveaway. Sexy though, even if a spy.
