Brewer: 'Disturbing' That Feds Spend More on Mexico Than Border Guard
fox ^ | 6/30/10 | fox

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer wants the federal government to spend more on border security -- at least more than it does on Mexico.

The Republican governor is slamming Washington for committing more than double the amount of funding next year to Mexico than it does to National Guard along the U.S. side of the southern border.

"They're giving more money to Mexico," Brewer said after meeting with administration officials Monday, calling the disparity "very, very disturbing."

Its simple, let the drug cartel violence become so bad that the US government needs to step in and “stabilize” mexico, thereby occupying it, then over the next few decades we slowly turn it into a part of the USA. Obama, you’re a genius!

Jan, increase our sales tax and order the Guard to mobilize. AZ is in a State of Emergency with Drug Traffickers.

I like this woman.

With Governors Christie and McConnell, that's a nice start on a great new GOP talent pool.

I read that first line as depravity, instead of disparity. Oh, well. That works too!

The imposter MUST be removed from office, along with the rest of his crew. I nearly retched when I heard the dum dum youth in this town croring about how great is that they had tickets to see him today.

One young woman said, “Oh, it’s enough to be in the same room with him.” A young man said, “He’s my hero and role model. The only role model I’ve ever had.”

BAAAARRRRRF!

This is a nice catch phrase fact that sums up the problem nicely. Now every Republican who speaks on immigration needs to mention it.

think that’ll happen? Can they pull their collective thumb out of their you know where and start putting out a conherent unified message?

If things get so bad that private citizens have to protect the border, you can bet Obama would send troops to protect the border crashers.

Brewer needs to consolidate allies (other governors, congresspeople), or she will be buried.

Posting signs like these has legal implications that go straight to the heart of American sovereignty. 0baMao has asserted that southern Arizona has been ceded to Mexico.

Yes, they give more money to Mexico then to America because they think of the Mexicans as their constituants, we’re just their ATM machines.

BTT!!!

Hey...let’s not forget....John McCain pushed legislation to give MEXICO health care!

February 09, 2008
Congress pushes bill to improve health care…in Mexico! McCain strikes again!

What would Americans think, then, of a member of Congress who introduced legislation, not to improve health care in the United States, but to improve health care in Mexico?Insane? Drunk? Unworthy of public office?

What would Americans think, then, of a bill introduced in Congress that required federal agencies to come up with a plan, not to expand health coverage in the United States, but to expand health coverage in Mexico? Impossible? Unthinkable? Wildly irresponsible?

What would Americans think, then, of the motives of a senator, who not only introduced a bill to improve Mexico’s health care system and extend coverage to a growing population of 120 million people, but gave health insurance companies the right to help devise the plan?Blatantly corrupt? Grossly indifferent to the well-being of the American people? Downright treasonous?

Unbelievable as it may seem, the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act of 2005 contained a provision giving insurance companies the right to help devise a plan for extending US health care to Mexico (Sec. 1004. BINATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND HEALTH INSURANCE).

Even more unbelievable, the senator who sponsored the bill is not on the verge of being thrown out of office for this odious piece of legislation. No, the senator who introduced the bill, Senator John McCain of Arizona, was on the verge of locking up the Republican nomination to be our next president

It may actually come to having Gov. Brewer ask for “responsible Arizona citizens” to defend the border.

Heh heh.

I was in law enforcement for over 10 years before finding work overseas...every year I was a cop, the Border Patrol got funding for more and more agents...their retention is abysmal...who would want to work, alone, under those conditions and then get thrown under the bus every time they acted? find some law enforcement types - organize the “well regulated militia” - deputize them - and let them secure the border...just have the guts and determination to follow it through....i’d bet that there would be folks lining up
