First it was long-time anchor Lou Dobbs, who retired last fall from CNN. Now another fixture of the network will soon be playing another role in the cable news universe.
On CNN's June 29 "Larry King Live," host Larry King, who had never been terribly friendly with conservative guests, announced his decision he would be giving up his show this fall.
"Before I start the show tonight, I want to share some personal news with you," King said. "Twenty-five years ago, I sat across this table from New York Gov. Mario Cuomo for the first broadcast ever of Larry King Live.' And now, decades later, I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I'd like to end Larry King Live,' the nightly show that -- this fall and CNN has graciously accepted to agree to, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids' little league games."

When your ratings are a fraction of the worst show on another network, it might be time to realize that you suck and aren’t relevant anymore.

I thought King assumed room temperature years ago—but then, with today’s special effects, who knew?

Wouldn’t be surprised if his final guest were the Grim Reaper. Would be an interesting interview and would make for good television.

CNN will bring in someone more annoying and who sucks even more

Page Six in the New York Post had a piece saying that somebody named Piers Morgan (wasn't he a character on All My Children?) will be taking over for Larry in October. He's a Brit...here's his photo:
We should start a pool on when he hits last place in his time slot. I pick Thanksgiving. Not a good year for the old dinosaur libs...King, Bill Moyers, Helen "I once rode a brontosaurus" Thomas...

Piers Morgan was the editor of the commie Daily mirror in London. He resigned when his paper was caught with fraudulently created pictures showing brit trooper engaged in “war crimes.” His paper promoted the communist “not in our name” campaign. Other Communists writing for his paper were “award wining journalist John Pilgher.” If he goes on CNN this should not be forgotten and we should constantly remind people of this.

I have never watched one minute of Larry King Live.>>>>>>>>
I watched him a few times back in 1992 when Ross Perot made his big splash on the show. Also a UFO show that took place at Area 51. Other than that it was a useless suck-up fest I would have to be paid to watch

I did not know this...thank you for sharing it. This has to be spread far and wide in order to counter the "clean cut" image CNN is going to craft for him. CNN in its desperation has revealed its true audience: those who would watch Anderson Cooper, a commie activist and Client No. 9. It is trying to outbid MSNBC for the title of "The Gutter Choice of Cable News".
