There have been reports of people being shot when they stumbled into a pot grow or a meth lab. Screw AB 1934 and the commie pinko’s that support it.

I was shot AT once while hunting in Northern CA(I have lived here most of my life)due to a pot growing farm. After I turned it into the authorities they left the area due to raids. However, if they hadn't been stupid and shot at me, and you can bet I fired back, they would most likely still be in business. I believe the open carry will not affect hunters and people in the national forest, or I would hope. Maybe we can use the new ruling by the SCOTUS to keep this sh** from happening. I remember when we could carry a loaded hand gun openly where ever we wanted to.

If I recall, I heard of a couple that had the same thing happen not to long ago but one of them was shot in the face but lived. If you were in the Mexican Mafia and guarded a multi-million dollar pot grow and tended it because your entire family in Mexico was being held hostage, you’d do what you had to do to protect the crop and your family’s lives.

Last year kayakers on the Salmon River in the Klamath National Forest were held at gunpoint by traffickers, as were a hiker in the Sequoia National Park and hunters in Mendocino National Forest. Two years ago, an 8-year-old boy hunting deer in the Eldorado National Forest with his father was shot in the face by pot farmers. “If you are a hunter, a fisherman or a backpacker, it can be dangerous,” says Michael Delaney, who oversees marijuana cases for the Drug Enforcement Administration in Northern California. “There’s a safety factor for everyone who is out there.”
