Your logic is unassailable.
I am curious how many parents you know who “casually leave their children in a closed, over-heated car?”
Or whether you are even aware of the profile of the different “kinds” of people who have experienced these types of accidents.
If not, try the link in post 52 if you haven’t already.
It would be great if technology was able to prevent the deaths of a few innocent babies at a reasonable cost. But like always, there is a tradeoff between safety and cost, security and freedom.
Have a wonderful Saturday.
Most days over 90 in June for Southeast since 1952
Why is there a correlation between this tragedy and race and or socio economic class
and drug use
and illegitimacy
irresponsible behavior
or folks taking chances....they don’t all forget they are in there
little creatures even at only 7-10 months already know when they aren’t loved or wanted
if we hung a few of these parents from trees it might stop some of it
(i’m not talking about genuine accidents)
I understand perfectly. I read the article and understand that these folks put their lives first, ahead of the kids. I don't need psychobabble to tell me to feel bad for them. They had more important things to deal with than their own flesh and blood kids. My argument is not a strawman. Would you leave a purse with a million dollars in it in the car? If you did carried it every day, or even if it was uncharacteristically your turn, I don't think you'd leave that purse.
Perhaps you do understand perfectly, but I have to wonder about your comprehension level.
Anyway, have a blessed Sunday tomorrow, and I hope your priorities are never “off” and your memory never fails!
I comprehend perfectly. Even if you can't see that. You can sit there on your mighty perch and claim I am foolish for blaming folks for their actions. I do blame them. Actions have consequences.
In every one of the stories told, the parents involved let something else take priority over the well-being of their children. The child should have been priority one.
My priorities are straight. My children have never been left alone in a hot car to die. My memory fails all the time, but not with respect to allowing my kids to come to mortal harm.
You have much to be thankful for.
