House Democrats Wednesday blocked an attempt by Republicans to find out more about the job offer the White House made to Rep. Joe Sestak, D-Pa., in an attempt to get him to drop out of Pennsylvanias Senate Democratic primary. The House Judiciary Committee voted 15-12 to reject a motion that would have directed the Justice Department to turn over all material related to the job offer, which the White House said was made by former President Bill Clinton and did not involve a paid position. Rep. Darrell Issa, the top Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has led the charge to find out exactly what happened and has threatened to take the matter to the House ethics panel. He may have no other recourse, now that Judiciary has rejected the inquiry.

Not at all surprised.
OMG! I was driving home tonite & I passed a house w/ a Sestak sign in the yard & it occurred to me that this story has been basically scrubbed from the headlines. I’m not a fan of Pat Toomey’s but I think Sestak gives Obama a run for his money for the Moonbat-of-the-year award. What a froot loop
Screw the democraps and this administration...what a bunch of jackazzes. I swear we are living in bizarro world.
The corrupt protecting their own! Why the hell don’t the pubbies scream about this and shove it into the public conscience at every public appearance. It has always worked for the other side.
Rep. Issa all alone amongst a bunch of cowards.(Bachmann excepted)

The republican leadership is spineless. Every libdem running in 2006 ran against the same republican opponent ... Rep Mark Foley of Florida. The libdem party nationalized the scandal. The republican party is run by idiots.
OF course they blocked it. They wanted an impeached judge on the judiciary committee, they have a tax cheat on the ways and means committee, they have an abortionist as Secy of Health, a pro illegal immigrant as Secy of Homeland Security, a tax cheat as Treasurer...
Dems dont want any more cheaters exposed. On the other hand, every single person above is still employed, so it may not matter if Sestak is guilty.

Right On! I am sick of their whining do nothing mentality!
But when the House changes hands in November.....
Sestak is so far out there that he called for a moratorium on development of PA’s Marcellus shale resources because of environmental risk. Fortunately Gov Rendell is a pragmatic enough politician not to go down that path. He said there’s practically no industrial activity that’s safe; we have to draw a balance. On this one I agree with Rendell. I’m glad he’s term limited, but at least he’s not completely nuts.
The machinations of Crime Inc. (thanks Glenn Beck) a.k.a. The Democrat Crime Syndicate.
I see Nancy’s draining the swamp again.
