Fox news reports also that the General is out. So much supporting our troops by this President. Yes, maybe the General said some pretty damming things, but this President doesn’t have the experience or smarts to fire a top General.
I don’t think he should have been fired for the article either. At the same time, things haven’t exactly been going all that well in Afghanistan so it’s not like he was kicking ass over there. If we were rolling up the Taliban left and right and on the way to victory, I doubt he’d have done this. But, protocol is important in the military and you can’t be saying things in public against the President and the adminisration and hope to stay on.
