You see being divided as the answer and I see being united on what made us great to begin with. ...Where we have fallen apart is getting away from Biblical principles and values.

Agreed. This, however, is really independent of national borders.

If Britain and France held onto their values, they'd be superior as well.

Further, I think the dense, secular, anonymous cities where people don't have any regard for the person in the next car they just cut off are incompatible with our founding principles and values.

The nature of a "Community Organizer" implies a disorganized community.

The LOCAL CHURCH was the founders' idea of a community organizer.

A rigid federal state doesn't allow rural and urban centers to find their own centers. It forces a least-common-donominator homogenization of society.

This must always mean that religious ideals are muted, and deviant behaviors are elevated in a society.

So a loose confederation of states must always be better than a large, rigid state.

No. If within the borders these ideals are reflected, then your criticisms are nulled.

“The LOCAL CHURCH was the founders’ idea of a community organizer.”

No Christ was no "community organizer" - and certainly not in the perverted way Obama is trying to use it. Belief was the common ground and STRONG INDIVIDUALS is what makes up the Christian body. In no way shape or form are Christians considered a cog on a collective wheel. If you believe this, than you are mistaken about Christianity. When you come dow to it, Christianity is about the HEART. Compare that to what is happening to the "heart" today.

Nothing about Obama, including ihis erasing of the individual through cowardly people grouping together as thugs in the name of “community” is Christian. In Christianity the INDIVIDUAL is respected.

Christianity does not promote SOCIALISM either. If you are capable and don't work, you don't eat. People should be charitable to widows and children but NOT to the point where they are ADDICTED to handouts when they can get on their feet again. It is a problem within the Christina community having people get addicted to handouts, when they just need a helping hand. They are as guilty as the government in getting off on power and CONTROLING someone else for different reasons.

I don’t want to move on, but I must. I’ve got stuff to do ... .

Another way of viewing this is a drill down on the heart, as I started to mention. The obama types bring out the worst in those kinds - greed, slander, ridicule evil hypocrisy and I mean - evil. For expample, I don’t need to even be working to know that abortion is wrong. OTOH, It’s “above (Obama’s) paygrade” to address that question.

Back to the heart - if there heart is not right with God, you will have more uniting under Obama types. Obama loves that since he would LIKE people to see him as a “god” of sorts. He fulfills a void they have. I hope you get my drift here. It is beyond borders .. it’s a state of the heart.
