The minimum cost of $1.1 billion per year to the Colorado budget due to illegal aliens is double the current Colorado budget deficit of $560.7 million. If illegal aliens left the state of Colorado, this $560.7 budget deficit would turn into a surplus of about the same amount. One suspects that the percentage of Coloradans in favor of enacting an Arizona-style law would be even higher, if these figures were widely known.

Deport them all.

States should sue the federal government for the costs attributable to illegal immigrants. The federal government’s failure to enforce its own immigration laws is is the primary factor in most states’ budget deficits.

As I was driving home last night, I saw two trucks with Illinois license plates, loaded down with what looked to be all their worldly possessions. The drivers and passengers all appeared to be of Mexican descent and appeared to be driving south...hopefully BACK to Mexico. Just the threat of immigration enforcement causes illegals to self-deport. If more states follow Arizona’s lead, we will have far fewer illegal aliens to deport.

Texas State Rep. Burnham out of Tyler has said he will introduce an Arizona-style immigration law for the Texas Legislature’s next session. Gov. Goodhair may not like it, but ask any tax paying Texan and they do.

A recent study by the Federation for American Immigration Reform discovered that illegal aliens cost Colorado taxpayers more than $1.1 billion per year, or about $612 per household. Additionally, between $730 million and $1 billion per year of wages paid to illegal aliens is sent out of the country instead of being reinvested in local communities.

So, get rid of the illegals and Colorado gets a $2 billion dollar raise. Not to mention lower crime and unemployment. What are you waiting for Colorado?

There is another hidden cost of the illegal intruders:

Your insurance costs.

My premiums for my vehicles are 38%++ just for ‘uninsured motorists’.
Despite laws here in Nevada that state you cannot have your registration unless you can prove insurance, those costs keep rising.

I have lived in 3 other states. NEVER have I paid so much for ‘uninsured motorists’.

I suspect that home owners insurance is also impacted,
between break ins & ‘accidents’ on your property.

Look at your vehicle insurance where you live & do the calculations for yourself. How much of YOUR insurance is for ‘uninsured motorists”????
