Democrats are looking at the possibility of raising taxes on families below the $250,000-a-year threshold promised by President Barack Obama during the election.

Looking at the possibility? Democrats have already raised taxes on families below the $250,000 threshold. I just saw my taxes go up this month since my life insurance benefits through work are now taxed.

Taxes, taxes, taxes - that’s what the libs are best at.

Do you really think this president will veto any tax hikes?

The real kick to the balls is all this government does is spend, spend, spend....

You know how RATS are always claiming that certain words are “code” for racially charged terms. Like “states rights” for example?

Well it’s the same thing with RATS, except with them it’s numbers that are code. When a RAT says 250K in a discussion about taxes, that’s code for 75K. So when a RAT says he wont raise taxes on anyone making under 250K a year, he’s actually saying he wont raise taxes on anyone making under 75K a year.

Take it to the bank!

You were spot on until the last two sentences.

We can pass H.R. 25 and press for once in a lifetime historical reforms in tax code. It took 52 years to legalize via the Constitution what is here today.

We are only 11 years into the following:

The PC, et al, are still doing their darndest to drive us into incredible levels of productivity.

At the same time someone brought in millions of uneducated Mexicans to build so many surplus houses that our primary base of personal capital gain, the family home, turned into poop.

We still have all the extra houses, and the extra Mexicans, and the continuing productivity improvements ~ but everybody is flat broke in what is, in fact, the greatest deflationary cycle in our history!

Then tax WEALTH. Kerry/Dodd/Schumer/Clinton....the lot of them

Tax what they OWN already. Even their money stashed offshore.

And make them pay more than $500/year for medical care & a free pharmacy on site @ Congress. We already pay through the nose.

Make their security their own expense. THEIR OWN.

It is interesting that they are using Dogran as the ringer on this trial balloon for three reasons:

  1. He actually has some smarts in economics as a former professor.
  2. He represents a fairly conservative state with few constituents above the middle class economic rung.
  3. He's a lame duck not running for re-election this year. By being the voluntary mouthpiece, he is openly siding with his party against his constituents.

Interesting and I believe you’re right. I was surprised to see this pop up at this precise time but that would explain the timing.

They'll leave NASA with one guy, a pocket calculator and a handful of bottle rockets.

“With the debt and deficit we have, you can’t make promises to people. This is a very serious situation.”

I DESPISE DEMOCRATS!!!

President makes a promise OVER AND OVER, but now nobody is really bound to that promise. He was elected, in part, due to that promise.

So Obama and The DEMOCRAT CONGRESS INCREASE our spending, our debt and our deficit, CREATING A CRISIS, and then try to claim that due to this "out of control" debt and deficit, No money is off limits for taxing in order to raise revenue.

Dems will take this revenue, spend more, claim dire debts and deficits, and tax more, then use the revenue, spend more, claim dire times, tax more, rinse, repeat over and over.

That's exactly what they'll do if their still in power.

Cmon November! We'll show them the door.

“And eliminate the Department of (no) Energy and Department of (no) Education.”

Agreed. Also, the feds should start auctioning off the land in the West they own. Pay down the debt with the proceeds.
