Mr. Emanuel is reported to be frustrated at the inability of the White House to "knock heads together" to fashion political compromises.
I thought that was Rahm's job in the first place. So in leaving, he is admitting his own failure. Too bad, Rahmbo. Don't let the door hit you in the tu-tu on the way out.

“...the cerebral Mr. Obama ...”
Ok so the myth continues that Obama is some kind of great brain....and then I noticed that the Wall Street Journal did not refer to the president as president - they called him Mr. Obama....wishful thinking?

During last year's health care debate, Mr. Emanuel famously argued for a less sweeping health care plan than the one that ultimately passed. He lost that argument to David Axelrod, the White House's chief strategist, and Valerie Jarrett, Mr. Obama's old friend from Chicago.
This might be a good thing as Rahm could have kept Obama in for another term had Obama followed his measured advice. Obama is as radical as Pelosi and just as toxic.

If Mr. Emanuel does step down, many will suspect that his advice to trim back ObamaCare was the beginning of the end of his power in the White House.I can't imagine John Fund believes this, so I assume he's trying to stir up the moonbats and let them further damage the Democratic party.

Rahm needs to go ahead and pick his seat under the bus. It’s getting close to capacity.

I laugh at the attempts to portray the administration as hapless and incompetent. In less than two years, they have consciously and methodically put in place infrastructure that will ruin America for decades to come, perhaps they have ended America as it existed.
They have added 1 trillion a year to the deficit for many many years. They have socialized medicine. They have repealed Clinton’s welfare reform. Socialized student loans. Taken over GM. And on and on. Rahm has done his damage. All 0 has to do is run out the clock for 2 1/2 more years until America gets bored with the idea of reversing this damage and that team has been more transformational than any president since LBJ or FDR. It is astonishing the sheer volume of evil they have accomplished.

It's beginning to look like some of his crimes will be exposed in the Blagovich trial...he may be out sooner than they're planning. Obama has a mighty big bus and I think Rahm has a tire with his name on it.

Yes, its always about Rahm.
This morning Tucker Carlson was saying that during the first Clinton inaugural parade, when Rahm was just a staffer, he had his name printed on the side of his car for everyone to see.
He is still just a staffer and yet he leaks to his contacts in the press about his every move like he was a cabinet member or government leader.

Of course Rahm and Obama don’t get along. Rahm wants to get things done. Obama just wants to opine and criticize. Rahm brings in reality and Obama doesn’t want to deal with it.
