Even though McChrystal voted for Obama...

That alone would give me reason to question his competency. I hope he pays the price for his foolish choice in presidents.

The fact that anyone could be called insubordinate to the boy king in the white house is pathetic.

Retire, and demand a retirement speech to a Joint Session in the US House of Representatives.

Any military person who voted for Barry is a disgrace to the uniform.

By this time next week I predict we’ll be referring to him as “Retired general and FOX News Military Analyst Stanley McChrystal”.

McChrystal has known this article was coming for some time - was that the strategy he came up with - grovel and apologize? Maybe he was taking his cue from Obama’s foreign policy rituals.

This is as close to a mutiny as you can get. And a LOT of Americans, perhaps a majority, will be backing the mutiny. The wheels are fast coming off the bam train, I’m starting to wonder what we do when you have a totally insane traitorous usurper as president who no longer even fakes like he is pro-American, and a buffoon for VP. Does it become a civil war?

If McChrystal disagrees with the President, he needs to resign his commission and then say so. He cannot openly mock a President while still on active duty, period.

That the President in question is an incompetent boob with delusions of godhood is irrelevant.

That the President in question is going to seriously compromise the war effort is irrelevant.

Criticism of the President and his policies must come from outside the military, never within.

General McCrystal and Congressman Joe Barton were both right and honest. Obama is losing in both Iraq and the Afghan nation and the POTUS Obama has no right to demand extortion from a private company, even though BP should be torn to shreds for incompetency. But....so to should Obama and his failed administration for giving green light permits to BP to move forward with a hazardous situation. BP should be drained of every cent and Obama should be forced to resign or be impeached. I wonder when the American people are going to wake up and realize that POTUS Barack Hussein Obama hates these United States and...that he and his traitor Democrat Party are doing everything they can to destroy America and all her people!!!

General, if what you are reported to have said was true, don’t be a wussie and apologize! But, you probably shouldn’t have said anything, if you aren’t prepared to resign and speak to the people.

Please tell me what kind of a General Officer, other than a black one voting out of blind allegiance to his race, would consciously have voted for Comrade Zero in the first place?

If McChrystal actually voted for Comrade Zero, with the information he had available about the candidate at the time of his voting decision, I am forced to question his competence for a command position, at the least, and maybe his sanity, at the worst.

How can one possibly be a serving General officer, and vote for the suicide of the nation he is sworn to protect?

I know it’s “bad form” but I’m tired of people apologizing for telling the truth. First Barton and now McChrystal. What they said was DEAD ON ACCURATE.

General Douglas MacArthur was called back by Truman and relieved for insubordination, so General Stanley McChrystal is in very good company. The difference is that McChrystal has far better reason to question orders being given to our soldiers. Whether or not you agree with Truman's opposition to giving a general nuclear weapons release authority, at least MacArthur was serving under a real American who loved this country.
