A Pakistan-born U.S. citizen pleaded guilty Monday to carrying out the failed Times Square car bombing, saying he wanted it known that unless the U.S. stops attacking Muslim lands, "we will be attacking U.S."
Faisal Shahzad, 30, entered the plea in U.S. District Court in Manhattan just days after a federal grand jury indicted him on 10 terrorism and weapons counts, some of which carried mandatory life prison sentences.

All this because he lost his home to foreclosure. Amazing!

I was just about to post this!
the judge makes me so mad not wanting to accept his guilty plea ... they never want the terrorists to admit their guilt and take the blame, they just want to let them off the hook any way they can - idiots!
In a just world someone would have already smacked that smirk off of his face, just my opinion. I say we let the Pakistan security forces have him now.
But is this enough for Eric Holder?...
“A Pakistan-born U.S. citizen pleaded guilty Monday to carrying out the failed Times Square car bombing, saying he wanted it known that unless the U.S. stops attacking Muslim lands, “we will be attacking U.S.”
Words of a soldier...why is he in a civilian court? Holder is a freaking genius isn’t he?
He admits guilt, so I assume that we immediately chopped his head off. No? Isn’t that what they would do in his great country?
Allah Snackbar!!
“I say we let the Pakistan security forces have him now.”
WHY? They would more than likely turn him over to Al-Qaeda!
This proves how effectively these Muslim 'immigrants' are brainwashed in the mosque. Thirty-year-old Faisal Shahzad, just beginning his life, is eager to show his soon-forgotten anti-American bravado in open court that will, one hopes, put him in prison for the rest of his life. Well, theoretically, anyway. He'll probably be out in a few years and deported, if he hasn't disappeared by the time they get around to deporting him.
With fanatics like this running around the U.S., unimpeded, its just a matter of time until one is successful. God help us, then.
The judge wasn’t “not wanting to accept” the plea. She was just making sure, as she should, that he knew what he was doing — which then makes it hard or impossible for him to withdraw the plea later.
Great. Now we will have a “living martyr” living at our expense in the Federal prison system. Anyone want to place bets on how long it will be until we have an attempt to break him out??
Herein lies the problem with treating terrorists like burglars...as long as he is alive, his peers will always be plotting ways to get him released. It is not a matter of directly attacking the prison where he is held; you never attack the enemy’s strength. They could go for random attacks on soft targets or take and hold hostages until he is released.
Name your favorite scenario whether it involves a season of “24” or not.
This is why we need Guantanamo Bay. That is where this guy should have been sent in the first place, and he should have been pleading guilty before a Military Tribunal, not a Federal Judge.

From the article:
“One has to understand where I’m coming from,” Shahzad said calmly. “I consider myself ... a Muslim soldier.”
Whatever else you may say about him, even though he is “an enemy of The West”, at least Mr. Shahzad is truthful about his beliefs and intentions.
That is 180 degress juxtaposed vis-a-vis what many (most?) of those who currently “lead” The West say (whether they believe it or not), regarding Muslims and the intents of Islam.
What Mr. Shahzad said also speaks volumes regarding the notion of “moderate” Muslims. Outwardly (that’s _to us_) a “civilian”, in truth he regards himself as one more “soldier” of Islam. As are _all_ who are “believers”, because to “believe” in Islam is to also believe in it’s “struggle” to prevail over mankind.
Yet those who lead The West deny this.
Who’s winning?
