As a 2010 Census watchdog, I am extremely disturbed to learn that a man so deeply involved in the Blagojevich/Obama-Senate-seat-for-sale scandal is now employed in an upper level management position by the Census Bureau in Chicago.
Even if the man, Joseph Aramanda, has not been convicted (yet) of a crime, his reputation for being involved in illegal activities seriously undermines the credibility of Census Bureau operations in Chicago.
In a city with corruption linked to 2010 Census advertising, the public should not have to worry that upper management positions are being filled by individuals who are directly tied to government corruption and fraud.
Furthermore, Joseph Aramandas experiences as a pizza franchise owner (his job prior to the Census Bureau gig) dont qualify him to be in charge of 1,000+ employees.
This is particularly troubling at a time when there are many hardworking, educated individuals with office management experience in the Chicago area who can do the job just as efficiently.
MyTwoCensus.com will be pressing the Census Bureau to fire this man immediately, as his association with the Census Bureau tarnishes the reputation of the 2010 Census.
That the suits in Washington could let a man so deeply embroiled in scandal run the office of one of Americas largest LCOs is extremely troubling and indicative of larger problems.
(And while Mr. Aramanda is spending days testifying at the Blago trial, is he still getting paid by the government?)

You can’t seriously expect to have an honest Census count in Chicago. That might reveal how many dead bodies voted for Obama in 2008. Put a guy in there whose own corruption you can expose if he gets out of line. He’ll figure out how to make the Census count conform to the wishes of his master.
Pizza covers all the req'd food groups :-)
Apparently Aramanda worked for Rezko and managed several of his pizza places. I don't know if it's Papa John's or Papa Tony's.
Especially Chicago thin crust.
Man the crap they sell for pizza here in CT most Chicagoans would laugh at.
And thankfully I've never had any of those pizzas, and sure as 'heck' would not step foot into a 'Panda Express'. Chinese is good but not from a Franchise. Prolly looks like mush with 1000 mg of MSG added for 'flavor'.
Boy, talk about money laundering. Rezko's got businesses all over Chicago filtering billions of dollars from the feds.

Yep, I'd KILL for a Thin Crust Pizza :-) (don't like Deep Dish or Pan)
That's the one good thing about the Chi Metro Area, I could live on Pizza. A different one every day of the week, and all within a 5 minute drive.
And from what I've seen on TV and Movies, that 'NY Pizza' looks like Cardboard with Tomato Sauce and Cheese. (gag)
That's exactly what it is. And, you should hear people around talk about how great it is. It's a piece of dough with tomato sauce and cheese. That's it and they all drool over it.
I miss Popolano's. I have to say that I liked deep dish at Geno's East.
If you want real pizza, go to Parma, Ohio and visit one of the few remaining privately-owned pizza shops. Very good stuff. I don’t know if Ricardo’s pizza is still there on Broadview Road or not, but it was among my favorites as I was growing up.
We had at least 3 pizza shops within walking distance when I was a kid. We had Master Pizza, Del Rocco’s, and Ricardo’s. Good stuff, but hard to find here in Tennessee. Surprisingly, Pizza Hut produces one of the better ones in this area.
If I'm going to go that far I might as well go all the way to Chicago.
Ricardo’s is still there - it’s called Rocky’s now. Don’t know if it’s the same family owning it or not.
You want good, or you want hyped? :-)
Chicago pizza is known to be good, but I'm afraid that I haven't ventured into that fine city to try any. Can't afford the tolls!
Seeing as how I grew up on Chicago pizza I know it ain't hype.
; ^ )

Gino's East is my ONE exception to not liking Deep Dish pizza. And IMHO Gino's East is like 'holy ground'. It's like the Mecca of Pizza joints :-)
Years ago I was involved in a Hi Rise Building (57 Stories) going up almost right next door to Gino's East. Every week after our Project Meeting that's where I'd take our Field Supt for 'lunch'(1).
(1) They also mixed a pretty good cocktail :-)
Have you ever tried “Chicago Oven and Pizza Grinder” for a novelty? It was pretty good as I recall.
