If BP’s screw up costs someone their job and as a result they lose their income AND health care then please tell me who should be making them whole?

BP has stated that they will pay legit. claims. The administration generated moratorium and administration generated delays will cost more jobs than the initial accident. The $ should not be a slush fund and it should not be funding obamacare.

Tho when the investigation is concluded and more facts are ain, I am betting BP will be held negligent, but I think the fed government is every bit as responsible due to their footdragging and negligence— Jones Act? Also, read the thread regarding the Coast Guard delaying use of booms due to inspections, etc.

I don’t think it is good that the administration is trying to make political hay and pushing Cap and Trade from the “crisis.” Do you think think a likely illegal slush fund likely extorted from BP by a Constitution ignoring administration should be condoned?
