CNN reports that Tea Party Express is joining Sarah Palin in backing the longshot who wants to unseat Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski in the Republican primary.
Though lawyer Joe Miller, shown at left, has far less name identity in the state, Tea Party Express will pour in people and money to try to "level the playing field," reports CNN's Shannon Travis.
It will be interesting to see whether Republicans in Alaska view the endorsement as verification of Miller's conservative credentials or just a continuation of a family feud that started when Palin booted the senator's father, ex-senator and ex-Gov. Frank Murkowski.

At this point, I would think that Murkowski is the longshot.
First of all let’s be clear that in the primary the only voters who matter are those who bother to vote, and they tend to be more conservative. I hope Murkowski ends up like Bennett in Utah, that would be an enormous message to the other half-assers in the GOP.
This is excellent news. Miller is much more conservative than Murkowski, a pro-abort RINO.
Is Murkowski a RINO?
Is Murkowski a RINO?

See Post #4.
Yeah, I saw it as soon as my question was posted.
Cool!
The Arctic Fox knows Murkowski isn’t really a RINO but that she’s a very weak Senator similar to Bennet.
Ultra Red States like Alaska don’t need purple Senators.
That's funny, why then did Palin endorse and campaign for her in a previous election?
ANSWER - It was "good" for SARAH at the time! Kind of like her support of McCain...no principles, no values, just good 'ol fashioned hardball POLITICS!
Bob, please just stuff that back into the orifice where it came from.
Bob, please show where Palin endorsed Murkowski in the 2004 primary. Hint: Palin did not, she endorsed Murkowski's primary opponent in 2004 as well. So you are as full of crap and bile as ever - you are now just making up your Palin attacks as you go along.
And yet, I can't bring myself to ever vote against ole Don Young and use to say the same about Uncle Teddy till they screwed him over. Say what you will, but I know what I have with Don Young and he'll vote my way every single time; and also he always is looking for a fight with any of them; can't help but liking Donny Boy.
They have a recall effort for Begich but nothing will come out of it before his term is up. Now Photo Radar Mark is some real scum.
Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski must go
So according to your 'logic' here, Palin should have backed the DEMOCRAT in the general instead of backing Murkowski.
Is this how deranged you have become, Bob? In your efforts to slime Palin, you imply that she should have backed a DEMOCRAT for Senate?
Do you realize just how big an ass you have become?
Yes, by 2004 it was already deep in the Murkowski-Palin fight. She campaigned for her father in 2002 and when his Lt. Governor resigned she was promised the job. But Murkowski decided to keep it in the family and when it went to Lisa, the claws came out and stay extended to this day.
Palin is like a “woman scorned” Hillary in that she never forgets a slight, never forgives a perceived indiscretion against her.
In your efforts to slime Palin, do you imply that she should have backed a DEMOCRAT for Senate in 2004, rather than backing the GOP primary winner Murkowski?
“Sarah Palin’s political action committee donated $5,000 to Murkowski’s re-election campaign last June.”

Sarah can even out flip-flop Mitt!
Lisa Murkowski’s Dem opponent in 2004 was Tony Knowles, who is vehemently pro-abort. Are you saying that Palin should have endorsed a pro-abort Dem rather than backing the GOP winner Murkowksi?
Thank you for confirming my original statement that Palin endorsed Lisa Murkowski in the 2004 election. I’m not UTD on her positions but I’ll take the previous posters comment that Murkowski is pro-abort until it is shown otherwise.
So everything I said was correct. Palin endorsed a pro-abort Murkowski in 2004.
You’re statement “what could she do?” rings about as hollow as Palinista excuses for her support of the RINO John McCain. If Palin was true to her convictions, values and decency, not to mentioon her pro-life opinions, then she could have just not endorsed anyone.
But she shucked everything she stands for under the bus because at the time, it was best for Sarah.
