Scary stuff. This is going to get far worse before it gets better.
Just like you said........
The "physical symptom" from H2S is that you can SMELL IT. It is NOT dangerous until levels 100X higher than those given.
And both of the organizations quoted are far left/green. The truth is not to be had from such sources.
"You were not smart enough to invest in NALCO and Corexits.
So now you must eat the dispersants as your future salad dressing,

can’t be anywhere near as bad as the toxic cloud DC is spreading over the country...
200 miles inland is pretty much the entire state of Florida.
Oh great, so we’re back to the miasma theory of health care now. Let me know when they bring back bloodletting....
I wonder truly indeed if a hurricane would actually help wash the Gulf clean.
If so then it could start with creating huge man made dust storms off the east coast of Africa.
Being less than half a mile from the Gulf, this is not good news for Mr. & Mrs. 2ndDivisionVet. She just had a stroke in April, neither one of us in great shape, don’t need any more problems. Thanks, hard-working chief executive (or is that golfer-in-chief?)
Like the little boy that cried wolf, I no automatic believe it when some experts tells me the world is coming to an end.
This all may be true, or it may be partially true or it may be entirely false. We can no longer trust those that wish to warn us since they may have an agenda our friends in the media do not report.
Hey, we’ve been putting up with toxins in the air from the MSM for decades.
Back in the Thirties when the East Texas Oil Boom was in full swing, crude oil was pouring into the ditches and streams like rivers, all over the area. Guess what the population prospered, the trees and plants survived.
“A report published by the Louisiana Environmental Action Network (LEAN) analyzed data released by the EPA taken from a testing site in Venice, LA between April 26 and May 26 (see chart). The results show unsafe levels of both Hydrogen Sulfide and VOCs in the air.
There have been rumors, reports and talk of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) developing plans to evacuate the Gulf coast for up to 200 miles inland if the air becomes too toxic to breathe. While that would obviously be a worst-case scenario, if it is true that the government is even considering that possibility, then that also may be cause for alarm.”
