It began around the end of the school year last June with teenagers hanging around a former Syracuse police officer’s home to smoke cigarettes and marijuana.
The number of youths hanging around the Camillus home (of Fredrick J. Baunee) began to grow. His vehicle was like a magnet attracting teens for short encounters....
Before long, the former law enforcement officer was running an organized drug ring with kids ranging in age from 13 to 17. Kids were both buyers and sellers. Some teens working for him phoned in orders for marijuana to deliver to their peers. A few were trusted enough for the ex-cop to front them drugs to sell as they saw fit with the proceeds eventually turned in to him....
But the trafficking operation was short-lived. It came crashing down after one youth told police how the ex-cop had provided him cigarettes and marijuana. A raid on the former officer’s home Sept. 24 turned up a small amount of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms and landed him in jail.
That’s the story prosecutors say they plan to prove as they move forward with a 46-count indictment handed down last month against former Syracuse police Officer Fredrick J. Baunee, 49, of 311 Westfall St. The youths are not being charged due to their ages, prosecutors said.
The May 5 indictment identifies 11 youths as participants in Baunee’s ring. Prosecutors say they don’t know how much drugs were sold or how many youths were involved. They suspect more teens were involved.

Baunee’s crimes are not limited to drug sales, prosecutors say. Baunee is accused of touching two boys in a sexual manner while they were asleep, Newtown said. The 15-year-old boys were spending the night at Baunee’s during a sleepover, she said.

A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an "older man." At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama's "safe school czar". ..."
According to Mr. Jennings' own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the "older man" in a "bus station bathroom" and was taken to the older man's home that night...".
On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure "to use a condom" when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings' own description in his 1994 book, "One Teacher in 10." In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student's concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old "left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated." ...

Exactly.
Nothing personal, but this man is not a pedophile, he is a homosexual. A pedophile is someone sexually attracted to children, specifically pre-pubescent children (usually of either sex.) He could be labelled an 'ebophile' which is someone attracted to teenagers, but I think that is a misleading term too, as merely being attracted to a 19 year old doesn't necessarily make one a deviant.
The problem with the examination of the Catholic Church molestation scandals was that the media and the homosexual lobby succeeded in pushing the term 'pedophile' as a label for the accused. The fact that all of the accused were men and their victims were overwhelmingly boys aged 13-18 gets obscured or lost by playing with the language. If the problem were pedophilia, there would've been more female victims and the ages would've been much younger. The problem, unfortunately, is rampant homosexuality amongst the priesthood.
This cop's sexuality may have been warped at a young age. He's probably acting out things that happened to him at that age. 'Recruitment' in this manner, as well as drug abuse, is endemic in the gay lifestyle. I totally agree that this ruins lives, but it is not pedophilia. It is the below-the-surface, nothing-to-see-here reality of homosexuality.
The gay sex stuff is a LOT more offensive to me than the drug sales.
