Is the man really this ignorant? That one statement is so convoluted it proves what a deep thinker he’s not.

I frankly think he is on the verge of stupid. He parrots well, but is not an original or creative thinker, nor even a perceptive one.
Every ‘idea’ he extrudes is some recycled kludge from the 1920s left, the 1930s left, the 1950s left, or the 1970s left. Utterly vapid, utterly programmed.

He does. But even if someone else is writing his material (pelosi maybe), if he were a deep thinker, he would know this statement is twisted thinking and would not have said it.
He also comes across as whiny... way un-presidential.
